Recommendations for Avoiding Children's Common Injuries While Using Trampoline

Hi to Everyone!!! How are you all? Hope you are all fine and enjoying your life. Today I am here with one more interesting and knowledgeable post. In my last post I discussed about few children’s common injuries while playing on trampoline. It’s a famous quote “If problems are there then solutions are also there”. So in this post I will give you few recommendations for avoiding children’s common injuries while using trampoline.

Recommendations for Diminishing the Hazard of Trampoline Injuries

  1. First is don't try to purchase a trampoline for your house! I know trampolines become more well liked in people, especially in Children and Young. It is a enjoyable way to get exercise, but there are more easy and safer ideas to boost your children to be physically active and strong, like playing catch, riding a bike (But with wearing a bike helmet), or playing a team sport.
  2. But if you want to purchase then never used mini and full-sized trampolines at home, either in schedule gym classes, or on playgrounds. If want to use then they must only be used in supervision under a training programs for gymnastics, diving, or other competitive sports and only and only one person should be allowable on a trampoline at any given time.
  3. If you decide to have a trampoline in home then following safety precautions consider:
  4. Always mature supervision required at all the times. Parents should vigorously see their children. Just being there probable does nothing to save children from getting injured so always guide all children on trampolines.
  5. Permit only one kid on a trampoline at a time for jumping. At the time of jumping only one kid should allow on trampoline.
  6. Do not give consent to jumpers to try somersaults, flips or others risky stunts. Especially children shouldn’t do flips and somersaults, because they can reason for fatal head and cervical spine injuries.
  7. Although the actuality that it won’t prevent every injury, check the trampoline has correct padding. For all time keep the trampoline springs enclosed with padding. Sufficient defensive padding on the trampoline that is in extremely fine condition and well placed.
  8. Always check all equipment of trampoline regularly. Whenever protective padding, the safety net enclosure and any other parts of the trampoline damaged then it should be immediately repaired or replaced.
  9. Never set the trampoline near trees or other risky structures. Ensure the trampoline place on a plain level surface and has no trees or other nearby hazardous objects.
  10. Put safety enclosure around the trampoline to prevent children falls to the ground.
  11. Allow only children of 6 or less than 6 years old on small sized trampolines and for older to bounce on full-sized trampolines
  12. Never use a stepladder close to the trampoline because little kids can possibly climb the ladder and jump unattended.

So these are the few recommendations for avoiding children’s common injuries while using trampoline. If you will use these guidelines then you can diminish the risk of injuries. In my next post I will post on children safety tips on trampoline till then

Common Injuries While Using Trampoline

Hi Everyone!!! Hoping you all are fine and doing well and enjoying jumping on trampoline. Well many of persons think that which kind of injuries can occur while jumping and how we can avoid such kind of injuries. So today in this post I will explain few major injuries.

​Trampolines become famous and well-liked amongst the children and adolescence and even few adults. However, it might be enjoyment to bounce and do some stunts like somersaults on a trampoline, but landing not in a proper way can be reason for serious and permanent injuries. These injuries can also happen even when you are using trampoline with a safety net and padding or parents are surveillance and instructing to their children. Here are few Common injuries.

Common Injuries and Their Causes

Each year more than thousands of folks are injured on trampolines. But the most of these injuries occur on home trampolines or garden trampoline. The greatest risk of injury for children who are younger than 6 years. Injuries happened due to our negligence. We jump fast on trampoline but while landing we could not control our balance as a result our ankle twist and we fall down. Sometime we do try big stunts which performed by a professional jumper like somersaults etc. Sometime we jump off from trampoline to the ground while jumping mat is bouncing. Sometime we landed on mat on our head. Sometime we could not control our bouncing speed and direction and we stuck in springs. Sometime we don’t check either mat is in good condition or not. Jumping on tear mat can also the cause for injury. Sometime the springs are not properly covered. Sometime we start jumping on wet mat or water over there.

Common Injuries include:

  • Broken down of bones (Sometimes surgery is needed.)
  • Temporary unconsciousness and head injuries
  • Ache and anxiety
  • Blemish, scrapes, and cuts
  • Serious head and neck injuries (which can lead to permanent paralysis or death)

  
Causes for Children can get hurt when they:

  • During jumping they land in a wrong way.
  • It is must prohibited doing stunts on trampoline like Flipping and somersaults. These should not be allowed because of the risk of head and neck injuries.Try stunts also a big cause for injury to the children.
  • Landing in a wrong way during flipping and somersaults
  • While playing on trampoline strike or struck by another person.
  • Without a proper way fall or jump off the trampoline.
  • Land on the springs or frame.
  • Playing on trampoline without surveillance of parents.


At the end, I just wish you have a safe jumping on trampoline. My next post will be on how to protect your children from any trampoline injuries. I will give you few recommendations for how you can avoid these injuries and use trampoline safely. Till then, use trampoline safely.
